Kids’ sunglasses — don't leave home without them!
If you’re like me, you’ve probably got a few pairs of sunglasses lying around—a few in the car, one in the closet, one behind the couch. But my kids? Aside from a broken pair my daughter got in a kid’s meal last year, there’s not a pair of kid-sized sunglasses in my house. Doctors say it is important to remember that harmful retina damage from UV rays does not just occur in adults. Kids are vulnerable, too. And retina damage builds up over time, so the longer your child goes without sunglasses, the more damage is being done to his or her eyes.
